Abstract: |
The study consisted of desk-top research, rapid and intensive fieldwalking and a geophysical survey and also integrated the results from previous archaeological monitoring of the excavation of test pits. A significant cropmark complex was known from the desk-top study, the most likely interpretation being that they formed part of an extensive field system rather than intensive settlement. Pottery noted during the field walking suggested Roman or earlier date. [Au(abr)] |
