Abstract: |
The desk based assessment identified the possible existence of a number of features, including two former watercourses (one possibly a medieval mill-leat), Roman and medieval suburban settlement deposits and the possible presence of Roman inhumations forming part of a cemetery. The assessment stated that the preservation of the archaeology was expected to be above average and the Roman material (especially the inhumations) could have been of county importance. [Au (adp)] |
