Abstract: |
A watching brief was held over excavation in preparation for an extension to a pub. Pottery from the earliest levels seen was all of Roman date, this would be consistent with the location of the site within the Romano-British settlement at Abingdon. The majority of the sherds were broadly of mid 3rd-4th century date. The only notable feature was a stone feature of no defined structure or date. [AIP] |
