Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out. Deposits of Roman date were encountered in all trenches, consisting of probable floor surfaces and demolition material. In one trench, a wall with adjacent surfaces was recorded. In two of the test pits the Roman deposits were less than 0.60m beneath the modern ground surface, at 0.54m (106.62m AOD) in test pit two and 0.53m (106.66m AOD) in test pit four. [Au(adp)] |
