Abstract: |
The monitoring established the survival of archaeological remains of only limited significance. During the evaluation a small pit was uncovered which may have dated from the late 17th or early 18th century. Only a small sample of its contents were recovered and no closer estimate of its date or interpretation was obtained. None of the three pits uncovered whether residual or in their original location gave any sign of human activity prior to the later 17th century.[Au(abr)] |
