Abstract: |
A resistivity survey found a sub-circular enclosure overlying an earlier field system. The eastern edge of the enclosure was defined by a trackway. The north-east corner of the enclosure incorporated what was almost certainly a small round barrow. A second trackway ran diagonally south-east to north-west above the enclosure. Other earthworks may have been part of a field system, but a clear building platform enclosed by a ditch suggested a later structure. There were indications of two small enclosures, one pre-dating the large enclosure and one later. [Au] |
