Abstract: |
An excavation was carried out at a site where Roman pottery had been found during a previous evaluation. During the excavation, medieval pottery and 16th-17th century artefacts were recovered. Post-medieval features included a cess pit with 15th-16th century pottery, and a timber structure which had been replaced by a brick building. Evidence of later rebuilding and robbing was recorded.
