Abstract: |
The development area was located on what was the graveyard for St. Nicholas' Church from the 12th to 17th centuries. Two trenches yielded human remains, however the rest of the site was mostly post-medieval demolition rubble and some medieval deposits. The evaluation was aimed at reducing the impact of the development and it was accepted that further archaeological work could be needed to achieve this. [Au(adp)] |
