The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The excavation of two holes at either end of a car park at Nunnery Lane was observed. They lay above the line of the here backfilled ditch of the city wall and the deposits in the trenches reflected this in that they appeared to be clean dumps of relatively modern origin. No dating evidence was recovered from any of the lower deposits. The results of the watching brief, although modest, should not be taken to indicate a lack of archaeological deposits in the immediate vicinity. [Au(abr)]
