Abstract: |
The principal archaeological issues related to the later prehistoric and Roman field system to the south of the site, the presence of medieval or later rabbit warrens, and the mining history of the area, including the former mineral tramway. No evidence for any of these interests could be shown to have survived within the site boundaries and further mineral winning on the site within these limits was therfore unlikely to have any significant impact on the archaeological resource of the area.
