Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during the conversion of the original school buildings and erection of four new bungalows. Three silted channels were identified. Their fills contained organic material but no finds, and the channels were believed to have been natural watercourses within a formerly marshy combe. In all cases the channels were overlain by a colluvial deposits of apparently early medieval date. No man-made features were identified. [Au(adp)] |
