A reconnaissance geophysical survey was carried out over 13.5ha of agricultural land. Three subsequent areas were target for detailed gradiometry. No evidence for archaeological activity had been identified within the survey areas. The previous roadway visible in the aerial photography was identified in the form of two parallel positive linear anomalies. [Au(abr)]
