Abstract: |
The study revealed the site was under pasture until 1844 when it was purchased for a Baptist burial ground that was used until 1914. The burial ground was terraced to form a garden in 1957 but has probably not been entirely cleared as tombstones remain in situ. The assessment concluded that the slope of the hill combined with the disturbance caused by the burials made it unlikely that there would be any disturbance of archaeological deposits or features.
