Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out on the site of a proposed new building in the proximity of an Early Anglo-Saxon cemetery. The evaluation revealed the site to be completely undisturbed beneath surface concrete with archaeological levels intact; no evidence was found of Saxon inhumations but the single prehistoric feature revealed was of a domestic type.
