Abstract:
Archaeological monitoring was undertaken during the excavation of a new drainage system at Dunwich car-park. The site, a Scheduled Ancient Monument, was located on the site of the Hospital of the Holy Trinity, county number. 142. Medieval material was revealed in the form of a demolition deposit which was possibly associated with the hospital, although the lack of form or structure within it made it likely that it had been redeposited.
