Abstract:		 An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a lecture theatre. A 15th century coin had been found within 500m of the site, and four medieval and later buildings of interest had been recorded. One trench was excavated, and no archaeological features were revealed. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary, but the report recommended that any future developments in the immediate vicinity should be monitored for signs of a medieval village. [AIP]
