Abstract: Two ditched enclosures were located, both continuing beyond the current limit of gravel extraction. The absence of domestic debris from the enclosures suggests that they were not associated with occupation. A larger pit was located to the north of the southern enclosure and may have been contemporary. An area of post-medieval quarry pits was located to the east of the investigation area. [Au(abr)]
