Abstract: |
<summary>Desk-based assessment along the route of a proposed sewage pipeline scheme identified an abundance of Roman settlement[?s] in the immediate area of the pipeline route, although the pipeline did not impinge upon any of the known site[?s]. Earthwork remains of medieval settlement at Sherborne, comprising enclosures, hollow ways and associated ridge and furrow, were however identified as being situated along the proposed pipeline route. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} GLOS4523, 4525 |
