Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken in Ipsley Church Lane, on the suspected site of part of Ipsley DMV. The deposits encountered represented both Roman and medieval residual material, with discrete features surviving only from the post-medieval period. There was some evidence of hillwash having built up at the lower end of one of the trenches, therefore early features may have eroded out.[AIP] |
