Abstract: |
The assessment was undertaken prior to the development of the site into a new supermarket. The site was known to have been occupied from the Roman period onwards with Roman features such as postholes, pits and burials. Other noted occurrences included medieval and post-medieval buildings and Anglo-Saxon finds from a ditch. [AIP] |
