Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken during sewer repair. It was not possible to make any drawn record of this hole, which measured 2 x 2.5m and was approximately 3.6m deep. It penetrated several organically rich layers. Objects retrieved unstratified from the contractor's spoil heaps included leather offcuts, a sawn antler tine, and pieces of 10th century Stamford ware crucible. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers: {italoff}1990.31 (YAT investigation identification no) |
