Abstract: |
The watching brief encountered modern and medieval ridge and furrow. No significant archaeological features were located, however 81 sherds of Romano-British pottery spanning the 2nd to 4th centuries were recovered, and may have pointed to a previously unknown settlement. Medieval pottery and prehistoric flints were also found. [Au(adp)] |
