Abstract: |
During January 2006 an archaeological evaluation was carried out in advance of a proposed tennis court extension with surrounding perimeter fence. Two test pits were excavated by hand within the site. No archaeological features were encountered in either test pit. However test pit 1 revealed a modern pathway with associated timber edging. Artefactual remains were limited to a single sherd of medieval pottery recovered from subsoil. [Au(adp)] |
