Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation consisting of the excavation of five trial trenches was undertaken following a planning application for the construction of houses. Three of the evaluation trenches located archaeological features, comprising five post holes and four pits, together with six possible post holes (unexcavated) and five possible pits (unexcavated). The four excavated pits were dated, by pottery, to the early medieval, medieval and early post-medieval periods. [Au(adp)] |
