Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken during the construction of a new teaching block. No surviving archaeology other than the length of wall probably representing a boundary between fields shown on the 1840 Tithe Map was recorded. Elsewhere the constuction of an army camp during the Second World War and the modern school during the 1960s had probably destroyed any earlier deposits. [Au(adp)] |
