Abstract: |
The survey revealed some features of potential archaeological or historical interest within the proposal area itself, including several possible Romano-British, or later linear crop marks. Early and middle Saxon features had also been identified in and around the northern part of the area. In addition, the presence of 12th to 14th century earthworks, structural features and other remains to the east and north of the proposal area. Ridge and furrow was also present in several locations within the study area. [Au(abr)] |
