Abstract: |
The assessment was undertaken prior to the commencement of mineral extraction on the site. The site was known to lie within an area of general archaeological interest which included evidence of Bronze Age funerary activity and both Roman and medieval farmsteads. The presence of post-medieval limekilns was also noted in the area. [AIP] |
