Abstract: |
The evaluation comprised the digging of twelve trenches measuring approximately 12m x 2m. A number of archaeological features were found to be present, including pits and small ditches several of which contained exclusively medieval pottery, possible archaeological soils and post-medieval or modern building remains. The archaeological remains appeared to cluster towards the west and east of the site with an apparent absence of archaeological deposits or features in the centre. [Au(abr)] |
