Abstract: |
Gradiometer survey followed by trial trenching was undertaken on a site proposed for a housing development. Three significant geophysical anomalies were identified interpreted as kiln sites and linear features. Trial trenching confirmed the existence of an undated ditch system and investigation of one of the kiln sites revealed a small kiln of unknown date and function. [Au(abr)] |
