Abstract: |
The watching brief was carried out during the construction of a series of ditches aimed at preventing the unauthorised occupation of the area. Two possible chalk trackways and a possible ditch were revealed. No dating evidence for these features was recovered, however Neolithic and Bronze Age flint flakes were found in the general area. Post-medieval tile and pottery was also observed. Sites of potential earthworks were also noted during the programme of observations. [Au(abr)] |
