Abstract: |
The proposed development area lay within a complex of cropmarks identified from various air photographs as of probable archaeological origin. These may be of prehistoric, Iron Age and Romano-British date. A small number of artefacts of Neolithic and Romano-British date had been found on land close to the area, although none had been reported from the area. No later archaeological sites were expected to exist within or beside the area. [Au] |
