Abstract: |
The study area surrounded the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Drax Augustinian Priory, founded in the late 12th century. The proposed development and study area were found to have archaeological potential. Part of Area C lay within the Scheduled Monument, and there were several recorded archaeological remains within the site with the potential for the discovery of several more. Further archaeological work was required. [Au(adp)] |
