Abstract: |
The remains of a Bronze Age flat cemetery were discovered during the archaeological recording at the site of a new housing development. The remains consisted of a cluster of four burials, with an isolated burial some 30 metres to the east. Most of the remains comprised cremations with burial urns; a small horseshoe-handled biconical urn, a large Trevisker urn and a probable collared urn. Truncation to the north and previous development to the south is likely to have removed evidence of further burials within the cemetery.[Au(abr)] |
