Abstract:		 The work identified a series of field and drainage ditches in the south-east portion of the site, with the limited amount of pottery recovered indicating they were in use from the early medieval period into the 13th century. It was at this time that the medieval town expanded into the Horsecastles area. Across the remainder of the site only modern features were present [Au(abr)]
