Abstract:
The study area was situated within one of the AGHV's which formed the basis for the proposed World Heritage Site. Particular attention was paid to the Poldice Tramway which formed the western boundary of the study area, as it was the first above ground railway in Cornwall. At least three mineshafts were identified within the assessment area.[Au(abr)]
