Abstract: |
A field evaluation was carried out on the site. Undated evidence of possible iron smelting activity represented by several bowl furnaces, slag pits and an associated gully were uncovered. Two isolated pits of unknown date and two mounds formed of dump material of possible post-medieval date were also identified. [Au(abr)] |
