Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out due to a planning application for the construction of a golf course. Fieldwalking was conducted over an area of c.53 ha.. The results indicated low level human activity on the higher ground throughout the prehistoric and early Roman periods. Finds from the other areas of the site possibly indicated a wider spread of activity, or possibly the downslope movement of artefacts due to repeated ploughing. [Au(adp)] |
