Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment was conducted in advance of a proposed development. The buildings on site were of 19th and 20th century date. The area had been occupied during the medieval and post-medieval periods, when a series of tenements were present and stretched back from the street frontage. Due to a lack of 19th and 20th century development on part of the site, archaeological deposits had the potential to survive. [Au(adp)] |
