Abstract: |
The site under investigation was once a formal garden, and previous archaeological work in the grounds of the school proved the survival of medieval structures related to a Dominican Friary which occupied the site until the Dissolution. Trial trenching produced little evidence of medieval occupation on the site, and activity was represented by the dumping of rubbish. [AIP] |
