Abstract: |
<summary>Further evaluation on the site of the Preceptory of the Knights Hospitallers at Beverley, which lay in an area proposed for a housing development, was undertaken. The trenches revealed that the cemetery associated with the preceptory extended east of the Hull to Scarborough railway line. The remains of a substantial timber building and a series of levelling dumps and modern disturbances with a pit below the modern ground surface were also identified . {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} 607 |
