Abstract: |
The potentially archaeologically sensitive phase of the groundworks associated with the diversion of the watercourse was archaeologically monitored. An earlier evaluation at the site had resulted in the discovery of three undated ditches, an undated pit and a Saxo-Norman pit but no further features were encountered during the watching brief. A limited assemblage of artefacts was recovered from the stripped overburden. [Au] |
