Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was maintained during the groundworks associated with the construction of a new bus station. No evidence of any archaeological activity was seen during the watching brief. It was thought that any archaeological deposits would have been truncated by the high degree of disturbance evident across all parts of the site. The typical deposit model comprised varying depths of demolition rubble overlying natural clay and sandstone. [Au(abr)] |
