An archaeological watching brief was undertaken at The Friary Gardens during the digging of narrow trenches for the installation of electrical cables. Several structureal features realting to the friary were recorded, as well as in-situ human burial. A quantity of medieval pottery was recovered from the trenches. [Au] |
