Abstract: |
Archaeological evaluation by means of four machine-excavated trenches was undertaken, comprising a 1.6% sample of a 1.2ha area proposed for a military hardstanding adjacent to Westdown Camp. Trenching revealed one shallow, undated earthwork, but no other pre-modern features nor any archaeological artefacts. [Au] |
