Abstract: |
An area was machine stripped in preparation for construction of a bungalow on a site formerly used as gardens and allotment. The site was near to the Old Sarum to Winchester Roman road, but there were no monuments, sites or findspots specifically associated with this area. No archaeological features or pre-modern finds were found during the site stripping, with no possibility that any deposits would be encountered during the foundation works. [Au(abr)] |
