Abstract: |
<summary>An evaluation of land proposed for redevelopment identified a small number of features associated with pottery of 13th-15th century date. These medieval features were probably associated with activity on the street frontage, which documentary evidence suggests was inhabited at this time. Investigation of a bank or mound in the south-east corner of the site failed to indicate its function or date. A layer of probably post-medieval made-up ground was also recorded in the western part of the site. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
