Abstract: |
An archaeological strip and record exercise to the south and west of a protected zone containing a Late Iron Age/Romano-British enclosure complex located little evidence of these features. One possible ditch was noted in the southern site baulk that may represent a continuation of a boundary ditch to the south of the enclosures, but this was not evident in plan due to disturbance caused by bulldozers on the stripping of the site. The site also appeared to have suffered plough truncation over the majority of the area monitored. [Au] |
