Abstract:		 The watching brief observed various pits and layers of medieval and post-medieval date suggesting various phases of activity. Finds included a glazed ridge tile and ceramic table wares, suggesting a building of affluence in the proximity. The earliest pottery from the site was of 11th-12th century date but was from a context containing later medieval finds. [Au(adp)]
