Abstract: |
The evaluation demonstrated an absence of any archaeological activity within the excavated area. The site was identified as potentially containing a continuation of a cropmark complex and geophysical anomalies identified to the south-east of the development area. Trial trenching on the site failed to identify any archaeological deposits or features and no artefactual material pre-dating the 19th century was retrieved from the topsoil or subsoil. [Au] |
