Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out on the church and its surrounds to assess the impact of church redundancy. The assessment identified that the church tower was Saxon in date, and the rest of the church was rebuilt during the 19th century. Much of the churchyard had been rearranged due to depopulation of the village during the medieval period. Any development in the churchyard would impact on archaeology and any alterations to the church would need Listed Building consent and Scheduled Monument consent. [Au(abr)] |
